The fact that some lists work and others don't is as important
to list owners as it is to potential mailers. That's why National Fundraising Lists works
with our client-base to help develop realistic expectations for list
marketing, expectations based on marketing history, our awareness
of the list marketplace, and our ability to project exchange capabilities
and rental revenues.
We promote aggressively, using a mix of direct mail, space advertising, telephone contacts and personal sales
calls. Following guidelines and restrictions developed in consultation
with list owners, we screen all offers and approve list usages
for agreed mail dates.
Then we provide the processing and follow-up to ensure accurate
and timely delivery of names, as well as full invoicing, collections,
accounting and related financial paperwork. We maintain and disseminate
usage and revenue reports, work to ensure compliance with DMA's
Mail Preference Service (MPS) guidelines, and advise and initiate
appropriate decoy (seeding) systems to monitor unauthorized use
of lists.
In addition, we suggest and implement file maintenance functions
(segmentation, selectivity criteria and other enhancement techniques)
to sustain and improve list usage and revenue potential.
